Katie Delaune is a reporter for the FOX 25 Morning News and the Primetime News at 9. Before joining Fox 25, Katie worked as a capitol reporter for OETA where she covered the 2006 elections. She also worked on a three-part investigative series about a TX company wanting to build a coal plant in Southeast Oklahoma. The project called for transmission lines to cut across people's property. After Katie's piece aired, the coal plant project came to a hault.

But Katie's passion for journalism began when she was 16 and living in her hometown of New Orleans, LA. She worked on a public affairs show at the CBS affiliate WWL for three years. During college, she also worked at the station as a desk assistant and fill-in producer.

Katie graduated from Loyola University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and a minor in History. After college, Katie worked as a weekend anchor/reporter at KTEN in Denison, TX. She won Texas AP Broadcasters award for her work at the station.

Katie enjoys traveling, listening to live music, and hanging out with her dog, Harley. Since she's from New Orleans, Katie also loves trying out new restaurants.
